My name is Brittany Hegedus, I am a member of the Bundjalung nation. This is through my maternal heritage, which is the Olive Cowan connection in South Grafton.
My grandmother and mother as well as my Aunties have all been involved in raising me and instilling in me the importance and beauty of who I am and where I come from.
I am also connected to Gumbaynggirr and am really surrounded by the memory and current connections to the beautiful Clarence Valley.
I have only lived in South Grafton and that has shaped the photographs I have included for the exhibition.
I try to capture moments in time especially in the natural world and to also capture beautiful images in industrial situations to show shapes and textures in a different way.
