Magazine 2010
collage from old magazine

I never throw anything away.

The materials l use are all recycled or reclaimed goods. The mediums range from bamboo blinds, chairs and bed heads, rusted metal, nails and screws, driftwood, shells, rope from the beach, matches, paper, cardboard, plastics and electrical wire.

My art takes form from the materials l have collected and the sorting gives me the inspiration to create. From piles of discarded junk into pieces of art.

Turning something old into something new and reducing landfill gives me great pleasure ".

THE INIMITABLE LINDY LYNCH

Diminutive in stature, warrior woman in deed & action... Lindy Lynch is an artist for our time.

In a post-pop, post-op, post-punk, post-hipster world. Art sensation, Lindy Lynch is both retro... and visionary... in the best eclectic way.

With Lindy Lynch Art... the past, present & future are all in evidence... inclusive, global-village work spans Ethnicity, Folk-art, Craftwork... all the way to Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, Psychedelia & beyond... that is Lindy Lynch 'creativity' in operation.

Lindy's ability to recognize pattern (itself a signpost of intelligence), is key.... from 2D collage, limited relief 2/3D assemblage, to full 3D sculpture.

Lindy Lynch is at the cutting edge, the grindstone and the rest of a very modern Artist's technique & trade... sometimes in a playful harmonious manner and other times with a driven, highly focused manic intent.

Shape and Form are often created from discarded, disused, disassembled materials and products, found objects in abundance amid a commercial, consumer, throwaway world... not just to re emerge... but to be reborn & reassembled, beautiful and objectified... in the inimitable Lindy Lynch style.

Prolific ? Yes!
Original ? Yes!
Inspirational ? Yes!
and Collectable ? Very, Yes!.
