Join artist Ian Thomas as he chats with beloved locals, Zenith Virago and Ian Teacosy Gray about the history of the queer community in the Northern Rivers and beyond. With a combined lived experience in the local area of some 80 years, Zenith and Teacosy have been, and continue to be, proud activists and organisers, tirelessly working to celebrate and uplift community.
As Teacosy explained to the Australian Pride Network in 2017, “History must include the whole story, and for too long our struggles and our everyday stories have been invisible, much of it lay hidden, even forgotten.”
